Offenham Residents Invited to Shape the Next 15 Years
The Offenham Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group is calling on all residents to help define the future of the village by participating in the newly launched Offenham Parish Community Survey.
This survey is a critical step in creating the Offenham Neighbourhood Plan, a legal document that will guide how the village grows and changes over the next 15 years. This is the primary opportunity for residents to have their say on vital local issues, including housing, green spaces, traffic management and community facilities.
A Vision for a Thriving Village
The Steering Group has set out a clear vision: for Offenham to remain a thriving, distinctive rural village that celebrates its heritage and natural beauty.
"The Neighbourhood Plan will guide sustainable and sympathetic development that meets the needs of current and future residents" a spokesperson for the Steering Group stated. "We want to ensure Offenham remains a safe, inclusive, and resilient place where people of all ages can live, work, and enjoy the countryside."
Why Your Response Matters
The policies written into the Neighbourhood Plan must be based on evidence. The feedback collected from this survey will be used directly to:
- Protect the aspects of Offenham residents love most
- Support local businesses and agricultural land
- Ensure future development is what the village actually wants, rather than what is imposed upon it
The Steering Group emphasises that they need to hear from as many residents as possible to ensure the plan truly serves the whole parish.
How to Participate
The survey is now live and available to all residents.

If you require a paper copy of the survey please contact us or you can collect one in person locally from the parish Church, Village Hall, Royal British Legion, Village Shop, The Bridge Inn or the Brewery.
Anonymity: All responses are strictly anonymous.
Prize Draw: While responses are anonymous, residents who wish to add their name at the end of the survey will be entered into a prize draw as a thank you for their time.
