Offenham Photography Competition 2025

The Parish Council is delighted to announce a photography competition that will help shape and illustrate Offenham's Neighbourhood Plan. This is a fantastic opportunity for local photographers to have their work featured in an important village document that will last until 2035.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking local photography that illustrates the uniqueness of Offenham and captures what is important about the village to our community. Photographers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels are invited to enter their best image(s) - one per category.

Competition Categories

Choose from nine different categories to showcase your vision of Offenham:

Architecture - The built environment of our village
Landscape - The natural beauty surrounding us
Heritage - Historic aspects that define our past
Movement and Travel - How we get around
Agriculture - The farming life that shapes our community
Village Life - Everyday moments that make Offenham special
Leisure and Recreation - How we enjoy our free time
Views Into the Village - Approaches and entries to Offenham
Views From the Village - Looking outward from our community

Photography Area

All photographs must be taken within the Offenham Parish boundary. The map below shows the exact area where photos should be taken for the competition. Click on the map to view a larger version.

Prizes and Recognition

Judging and selection will be done by a panel from the Parish Council, and prizes will be awarded for the three best overall images as decided by the panel. Selected images will be included in the Neighbourhood Plan with full attribution given to the photographer.

If your image is selected, you agree to your image and name being included in the plan and published on the Offenham Parish Council website. This is a significant and important document for Offenham and will provide a great showcase for fantastic imagery from our local community.

Closing date: Sunday the 30th of November 2025
Results: To be announced in the New Year

How to Enter

Please send one photograph per category per email to onp@offenhamparishcouncil.gov.uk with your name and contact details (or of a Parent or carer if under 18). Or you can hand a physical copy to one of the village parish councillors or members of the ONP committee.
