Temporary Road Closure on Merry Lane from 3rd of August

We have received notification from Worcestershire County Council of a road closure on U45207 Merry Lane, Offenham. It is due to commence on the 3rd of August for a new water main. More details can be found in the announcement below...

"WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U45207 Merry Lane, Offenham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026  

Proposed Order: to close that part of U45207 Merry Ln from its junction with C2047 Station 

Rd to its junction with C2050 Bennetts Hill. 

Reason: New Water Main by BA Hull Ltd 

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where 

there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. 

Alternative route: C2050 Bennetts Hill, B4510 Evesham Rd, C2047 Station Rd and vice 

versa.​

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing: 3 August 2026
